AL HIMMAH (Jurnal Hukum Ekonomi Syariah dan Hukum Islam) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to disseminating high-quality original research and rigorous conceptual inquiries within the domain of Sharia Economic Law. The journal serves as a premier forum for the evolution of legal thought and critical discourse concerning the implementation of Islamic jurisprudence across economic, financial, and Sharia-compliant business frameworks in both national and global spheres.
AL HIMMAH invites scholarly contributions that examine a broad spectrum of contemporary issues, including modern fiqh muamalah, Sharia banking and financial regulations, contractual integrity (akad), and Sharia-based dispute resolution mechanisms.
Furthermore, the journal extends its scope to include legal analyses of the global halal industry and Islamic social finance—specifically zakat and waqf—from a normative and empirical legal perspective. By fostering an interdisciplinary dialogue between traditional Sharia principles, contemporary regulatory developments, and the complexities of modern market dynamics, AL HIMMAH aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Under the management of STAI Darul Abrar, the journal provides an essential academic platform for scholars, legal practitioners, and researchers to advance a sustainable and equitable framework of Sharia economic law that remains responsive to the exigencies of modern society.
